Artist Statement
“My art is my vision of what I see, love, hate and dream. I have always been fascinated by stories and fables of the Medival Period, thus it was natural for me to begin with that as a subject for my paintings. Each painting creates another tale. As with all stories of the genre; there are great heroes, vengeful gods and strange fantastical creatures. Other conepts for my paintings come from what interests me –New Mexico, musicians, athletes and world events. My personal art journals, a collection of writing, drawing, and collage, chronicle my experience and are a constant inspiration for my evolving body of work.
